Our stay at this spa hotel was truly unforgettable. With breathtaking views of the Douro Valley and a stunning architecture that perfectly fits the natural surroundings, we felt completely immersed in luxury. The world-class spa services, alongside a remarkable dining experience featuring gourmet cuisine, made our time here special. However, while our room was spacious and beautifully designed, the layout lacked some privacy, particularly with the bathtub being so centrally located. Overall, we found it to be excellent value for money, making it a can't-miss spot for anyone visiting Portugal.

The spa services were top-notch, providing a wonderful escape, while the dining experience, especially breakfast, left me wanting more each day. I did feel that for the price, a bit more variety in the dinner options would have been ideal, but overall it was a magical temporary retreat.
